L'AME IMMORTELLE - Dein Herz (2006)

I'm on a serious high right now so forgive me if I ramble... I uploaded this single way back in 2009 but I'm sure the original link is dead seeing as MegaUpload is now buried... I actually received an original copy of this in the mail today and I really wanted to share it with all of you!

Dein Herz is (in my opinion) one of the most epic and powerful songs done by any band ever... If you don't feel something when you get to the chorus, you're probably dead inside. It's that good! But it's not just vocally good, it has great rock and symphonic backing that give it an edge on a lot of other songs in this genre. But Dein Herz is not the lone track to watch for here...

Alone is a very sad song that really connects with me on an emotional level. I love Thomas' lyrics and the way he sings this song. While the instrumentation might not be as epic as the title track, it is well suited to the song. Then there is The Lake which is actually an Edgar Allen Poe poem that is narrated by Sonja and has musical backing. Beautiful. Musical. Backing!

The remixes of Dein Herz aren't quite as epic as the original, but they have their own flavor and place on the single. I really hope you guys will give this a listen! L'AME IMMORTELLE is one of the best bands you will ever hear and you will most certainly not regret checking them out!
